What's the biggest day of the year for any child? His or her birthday! It's the one day of the year to be the center of attention... no questions asked!  That is why setting the scene of their special day is just as important as anything else....

Themes

It is a popular concept these days to have a themed party but it's not something you "have to have".  If you do decide to go with a theme here are some ideas to help you along:

* Choose something that your child is passionate about such as pirates, dinosaurs or fairies

* There are many wonderful themes based on children's TV shows, movies & books as well - Barbie, Barney, Hello Kitty - the list is endless 

* A favourite colour 

* A letter party (letter of the alphabet) 

* A fancy dress party 

Almost anything goes when it comes to choosing a theme!
